WORK EXPERIENCE
Put a NextGen participant to work in a paid or unpaid position. Structured learning experiences that takes place in a workplace not only provide a chance for career exploration, but also skills development in a real-world work environment.
APPRENTICESHIP
Pre-apprenticeships and full apprenticeships are highly desired by youth and young adults. The ability to "earn while you learn" allows them to get on their feet financially while working on a career path that offers long-term career success.

Work-based learning activities have no cost to employers. In fact, for paid work experiences and on-the-job training, NCWorks NextGen pays the participant’s wages in whole or in part, to mitigate training expenses for your business.
